A Tangled Web (Click to read this week’s suspenseful chapter!)
“It does sound wonderful. Makes me wish I were going to be around to see it.”
You amaze me.
This was one of my favorite chapters in the whole game. It establishes that Casey is basically honest and trustworthy because she chooses to be — because she recognizes the profound value of honesty and trustworthiness — and not because she lacks tactical skills. I think the GM was intrigued by that concept, because he started tossing little tests at her after this scene, presumably to test the strength of her ethical convictions. I found them highly entertaining. It’s always fun to learn new things about your own character via someone else’s curiosity.
